Why does this way of farming matter?
Soil health = plant health = human health.
Each life flourishes by the support of unseen and unknown communities. When we farm in a way that protects and nurtures diversity, we enter in to a peaceful and joyful collaboration with life.
Diverse soil life forms community with plants, cooperating with and supporting a plant to build an elegant architecture of flavor and nutrients. In turn, plants feed and nourish the soil life that supports them.
Food grown in this way supports your vitality -- your own resilient architecture.
When you support this way of farming, you become part of a life-affirming movement. Let's flourish together!

Farming is the most challenging, interesting, and deeply satisfying work I've ever pursued. It's a way of life that offers no guarantees, makes no promises -- but approached with patience and curiosity, imparts a rich and humbling experience of abundance and connection. I am reminded that each day when I wake up and walk out the door I've already depended on a vast community of people, plants, animals, microbes and fungi for my own life to flourish. In turn, I pay that forward with care and stewardship.
Daisyfish Farm wouldn't be possible without substantial family support, mentorship and all the people who choose to buy farmers market produce. I am grateful every day.
